The Sony STRDA5500ES is a very good 7.1 receiver featuring internet radio and is best suited to people who have a large collection of vinyl or CDs.

Superb sound quality, this is the best sounding surround sound receiver I have ever heard, especially for music, something they are not normally as good at as stereo amps are.Truly awesome for movies, games and T.V. as well, of course.

It could do with a 'pure audio' mode. It has an analogue direct setting which works really well, but can only be used for analogue signals. A pure audio mode that works with digital as well as analogue inputs doesn't make as big a difference, but works...
