well this is a very well designed stand but their a few issues I have a 17" sony laptop and it is not secure I have modded the top plate with some small feet as the from t of the stand is not flush with the rubber.... the holder for a sound card is...

Best of a bad bunch?

 

Best of a bad bunch?

The stand is light, compact and reasonably sturdy. But it wobbles quite badly. The tie that is used to secure the stand in an upright position prevents the stand from sitting totally flat on the table (if there is a way round this, I can't find it)....
