You can also connect a powered subwoofer, for awesome, fully discrete 6-channel stereo sound. Technics' class H+ amp circuitry minimizes heat generation, for maximum efficiency. The company has improved its dynamic headroom (an indicator of reserve power) to an impressive 2dB - significantly more than the 1.2dB available on previous receiver amps. So reserve power is about 1.5 times that of rated power. This helps guard against clipping distortion. A universal Remote Control ready for TVs, VCRs and Technics DVD player is included.
