Vox amPhones AC30 headphones review

I love to play electric guitar. I love to turn my amp up not to 10, but to 11 (some may get the reference). But what happens when you live in a small house and your housemates don't have the same opinion of the rock god-like skills you possess? The...

Good but Fragile

Very good on batteries I think.

Plug it in and you have an amp. Works well and gives a good effect.

Be very careful with this thing when you have it plugged in. I broke the jack out of the plastic body bumping my guitar against the corner of my bed. My fault, but from day one the amp felt a bit jiggly in relation to the jack.

works great!

I thought because of small power output and size it wouldn't measure up. I was so wrong. Large output can come in a small package.

plug and play at its best. what more needs said than - wow, this thing is awesome! good sound quality for such little power. discrete. out of fingers was when playing. very responsive.

One amp to rule them all

I would recommend this amp to anyone looking for that Vox tone or any music or record engineer who needs a good arsenal or tones. There is only one way to get this tone other than this amp and that...

Garbage

This I believe was the beginning of the era for Vox. I believe these amps were first produced in the 70's and it lead to them continuing the path of trash products. There are good purposes for soli...

Splendastic!!

These amps are harder to come by nowadays since many people want to hold onto them as collectors items. Plus there were only a certain number of them even made. So scoring one will be a task for an...

No different

If you are going for a particular tone then the Vox isn't going to be it. If you are going for a Vox or Brian May tone then there is only one way to go. You will need to get a JMI/ Jennings Music I...

Spectacular!

This amp is an absolute classic. They are much easier to find than a JMI VoxAC30. Plus they will be better at gigging since they were build better in these days. These amps I have seen on the used ...

Good but not as good as the original

The tone from the amp is decent but I would never buy this thing again. If I ever got another Vox I would get a reissue UK made or plunge for a vintage unit. Vox has now replaced these amps with ...

Classic feel and look

One of this most unique amplifiers in the world. They are immediately recognizable when you see them with their black tolex and criss cross brown grille cloth. Everyone knows Vox when they see one....
