Needs Lot More Work

Dynamic range control + Adaptive range control Support for HDMI ARC, HDMI CEC

Frustrated!

Easy return procedures. Makes an otherwise painful process a little easier to handle. Nothing bad to say about Newegg.com.

The entire reason I replaced my current A/V receiver was due to HDML connections dying. This one arrived DOA. It could handle standard definition cable signals but nothing else. No HD, DVD, Blue Ray, or games on the PS3. If you a fan of Yamaha, steer...

Awesome Receiver

I actually bought this from a different store but, i have to say it's definitely worth the extra cash if you have it. I have it hooked up to a powered sub of mine too. Really makes the place shake.

Awesome Receiver

Problems with HDMI

I didn't test this function out when I first got the unit. When I found out, it was too late to return the unit. I called the Yamaha support center, waited for half an hour and the representative was rude and not helpful at all. I have to take this...

No complain about the sound reproduction in this unit. It integrated perfectly with my Bose speakers. The sound is superb. I would give it a 5 eggs if there is no HDMI problem

The problem I have is while playing DVD and Blue-ray through the Yamaha receiver, the movie picture is blinking. The duration varies from a brief blink to a black out screen up to 3 seconds. I hooked up the DVD and Blue-ray player directly to the TV...
