Great budget receiver

Went from having Denon in my HT since 1990 to getting the V571 when my last Denon,2309ci started to show signs of the DTS Master Bomb. Love the Yamaha and glad I switch brands.

Price.HDMI video. Sound qty of Music. On screen Interface

Learning curve for changing surround filed is steap

Great entry-level receiver!

My old Sony receiver was giving me fits and my needs had outgrown its capacity (in particular, it only had 2 HDMI inputs and I have 4 devices that I connected through an HDMI switch). This Yamaha unit has dropped in price due to the new models that...

Perfect for Home Theater on a Budget

After a horrible experience with a Denon AVR-1312 that I had to return, I am very pleased with this purchase. Following HDMI compatibility issues with the Denon, I was a bit concerned about the Yamaha. To my great relief, the RX-V571BL performed...

One major drawback

Got this receiver for a combination AV/Karaoke system with 5.1 speakers. All the other popular AV receivers seemed to have some severe drawback (features which didn't work) mentioned in the reviews, while the Yamaha reviews were clean. The AV features...

Works perfectly

I bought a marantz SR5005 and it died in 2 months. Local dealer were not willing to repair it under warranty. Bought this as a replacement. It is far more reliable than the marantz and works as advertised. The only complaint is the display does not...

Beware of this Product

I have owned this receiver for a couple of weeks. In the beginning I already noticed some issues with the HDMI output. The picture stopped showing here and there. First I thought it's the HDMI Cable or a defect PS3 but it wasn't in the end. Finally the...

Awesome receiver

This receiver has everything I was looking for. It's 105W/ch, 7.1 functionality, and banana plug jacks are what sold me. The setup was very intuitive and as easy as they could have made it. The onscreen GUI for setup and menus is the nicest thing....

Nice but it has limitations

I bought this receiver to replace an older model Yamaha receiver. The new receiver is capable but I learned a few things as I installed it. My old receiver only supported component video and I wanted to upgrade to full 1080P and HDMI. My audio/video...

Drop Dead Simplet Setup - Sound is amazing.

This replaced a Onkyo TX SR604 that barely lasted 4 years before - one-by-one - the channels for it's various inputs burned out. I've bought Onkyo receivers for years and - until now - loved them. I've never seen heat issues like the last couple. It...
