Great Little Remote

Would buy again without a hesitation.

Works great. Integrates with Windows MCE

Pulling teeth here. Little red light on receiver blinks even when using other remotes. It is obviously detecting the IR. I do not feel this is enough to take away a star

Does What It Needs to Do

i bought this for my sony bluray player that says "wifi ready" but of course you have to buy their propitiatory wireless thing, so i'm like i'll just get something so i can have wifi on the thing, this was perfect for my situation, if you were are in...

Does exactly what I need it to do ; Buttons feel decent. None of them stick into the remote ; Works with any PC running Windows out of the box with the receiver ; USB receiver will get it going

I have a HTPC which is why I bought the remote. Unfortunately, the remote will simultaneously send commands to the HTPC and the Xbox since they are in close proximity

great value

One of the cheapest WMC remotes I could find. I didn't need the remote though, I really wanted the IR USB sensor and that works great. It works awesome with my Logitech Harmony remote

none

Easiest Installation ever

Bought two of these to use with XBMC on Windows and my Logitech Harmony One remotes. They were plug and play with Windows and XBMC. No configuration needed!

No configuration needed

Couldn't just buy the ir received

Great XBMC Remote

Great budget remote for an htpc. This remote does not work with other devices (tv, dvd, etc..)

Worked out of the box with xbmc on windows 7 ultimate 64-bit. Have not tested linux. Works great within windows after setting up eventghost. Well built and durable, even came with batteries

Seems a little light, but not a con. The cord on the IR reciever could stand to be a little longer. But not enough to drop an egg:)

Works as advertised

Good price, easy to use.

Great range, IR receiver picks up the signal even if the remote is not pointed directly at receiver. Works out of the box with Windows 7 Media Center

Can't program any buttons to turn on TV, etc

XBMC/Ubuntu/Linux

Do more research if you're planning on using this with XBMC. I'm sure I'll be able to get it working. You will most likely be able to as well but not without a fight and a little frustration

Nice remote, very sturdy

Does not work with linux out of the box as stated in other reviews. It's been a few hours since I started trying to get it to work and it's not. While it's supposed to work on the live version of xbmc I have been unable to get it to work on my setup....

Perfect XBMC or MCE remote

Very well made, feels a little light, not a con because it is def well built.

Works well will XBMC or MCE - no issues at all. It appears to be a standard MCE layout and button presses respond accordingly. Very snappy and quick response, no lag or sluggish behavior at all

None - this thing even came with batteries

Two dead ones in a row

I bought one several months ago and had no trouble with it

I bought a second one, and the receiver did not work at all. (The new remote worked fine with the old receiver) ; I RMA'd it, and the replacement came. Low and behold, the receiver does not work at all. Red light stays on all the time, and it doesn't...

xbmc remote

here is a small script that helps: #!/bin/bash ## just trying to help, aka..space_ghost sudo apt-get install lirc-modules-source && sudo sed -i "s/{ USB_DEVICE(VENDOR_TOPSEED, 0x000a) }/{ USB_DEVICE(VENDOR_TOPSEED, 0x0011) }/"...

works with xbmc, all the buttons work as label

the newer version of this remote needed a little bit of work
