The RF remote was a great buy here! DirecTV was asking for $20 when our remote became defective. Got it here for half the price and it took less than 2 minutes to set up with the on screen prompts.

The remote works great after I figured out I had to do a "remote reset". I programmed for RF and it works great. Shipping was fast. Thanks Reider Electronics!

Ordered two, were sent, received and worked right out of the box, at a price about 15% of retail! The biggest problem was programming codes that the TV manufacturers had not provided, but the Web saved it for me. Using both and very satisfied!

I needed a replacement remote for my DirecTV receiver. I looked at DirecTV.com, and then found the same remote here on Amazon for half the price. I've used it for about a week now, and have not had any issues.

If you want to setup the DirecTV box to work on the RF frequency, you must purchase the RC65RX. If the product says RC65X, it's not RF capable (I found out the hard way). This remote works just as described. DirecTV sells an RF remote for $25 dollars...

Worked as advertised, came in new condition and with batteries! Moved my HR24 to the basement of my home as I sit in my living room upstairs with no issues at all!
