Review - Keyspan Easy Presenter

It's time to unshackle the chains that bind you. Well, at least you can now leave your computer when making a Keynote or PowerPoint presentation. With a stated working distance of 60 feet, the Keyspan Easy Presenter lets you run the controls of your...

Does anyone have version 1.1 of the easy presenter software? Keyspan was recently sold and the new company does not have the earlier version. The latest version does not work with OS X 10.3.9, which is the version I have.

Great device!

Fits in your palm easily making people wonder how you are controlling the presentation.

Great device with slim look and easy to pack. If you are on the road a lot this is a good pick

Controlling the mouse is kind of tricky

As usual the batteries that you get with the device last all of 2 weeks. I wouldn't even bother with them, just put in a good set and it will last for 8+ months before you need to replace them (dependent on usage).

Range is great and works well for all the presentations that I give being a teacher

Mouse functions are not as that great, but that is not what I bought this for

Excellent Wireless Presenter

Works great. If you dont mind the price, I'd suggest buying it.

Works very well. Plug and play in Win7, Ubuntu Linux (that I've tried so far). Host of usefull buttons for presenting. Has useful buttons for what I bought it for: controlling netflix from the couch. Well made

A bit pricy, doesnt work as well when receiver is totally blocked

Good product

I use this remote for watching TV shows and movies on my computer. It is very nice because it works as a thumb mouse, giving me the ability to fast forward, pause, play, and move on the the next show. I even programmed the F5 key to switch windows...

Fairly easy to use ; excellent for watching TV shows and movies on your computer ; It includes a laser pointer ; range and signal response are excellent for my daily use ; very lightweight ; I have not had to replace the original batteries since I got...

Sometimes the remote doesn't register a button response, but this is infrequent ; Controlling the mouse takes some getting use to

You guys rock!!!

Super nice design. Streamlined, has everything one could possibly want ; I can use it as a remote for watching movies and shows on netflix on my computer OR for looking snazzy while giving a powerpoint presentation! Worked like a charm from the moment...

None so far - tested it with my talk and all went fine

Great Remote

The mouse control takes some time to get used to, but with some practice you can manipulate anything on the screen that you would typically use a mouse for. As a complete side note this is a great tool for a fun practical joke. Plug it into an...

This remote has it all! I love the ability to not only advance Power Point Slides, but also have full mouse control without being confined to the computer. The remote has a great laser pointer and the volume control is a nice added feature

I have not found any cons that are device caused

Pretty Darn Good

I have the Pro-2 (sliver) and this one is way better. I wouldn't recommend the previous version.

Functions well. Has an off switch to save batteries. Laser pointer easy

Mouse pointer disappears sometimes, but eventually comes back. If the mouse pointer is on the screen it often flickers like it's not getting refreshed as often

Great little device

This is much smaller than I was expecting - the remote is only about 5x1.25x0.75 inches. The stick is a bit jerky if you're not used to it, it's much more sensitive to small movements than a regular mouse. If you're going to be using this on the same...

Does everything it should. Button arrangement is very comfortable. Easy install - no drivers needed for WinXP, just plug in the USB sensor and wait a minute. The USB sensor slides into a slot in the remote when not in use, very convenient if you're...

The laser pointer automatically shuts off after about 30 seconds. I got this for the mouse control, so it's not really a big deal for me
