Logitech Harmony Advanced Universal Remote for Xbox 360 review

Logitech Harmony Advanced Universal Remote for Xbox 360

Better shape than previous Harmony remotes; strong backlight; choice between device or activity usage; intuitive, Web-based programming.

No rechargeable battery option; numeric keypad buttons are too small and grouped too closely together; Web interface might intimidate nontechie users.

A sleek design, an impressive feature set, and a manageable price tag make the Logitech Harmony Advanced Universal Remote an excellent choice for Xbox 360 owners.

Web-programmable, universal learning remote; activity-based programming and usage; DVR-friendly button layout; backlit keys and color LCD; compatible with Windows and Macintosh machines; rechargeable battery and docking station included.

No RF support; Web interface may frustrate some users.

Designing its first universal remote, Logitech takes a nice step forward with the Harmony 880.

We continue to update our readers on the new remote control models from Logitech's Harmony line. Their newest consumer remote, the Harmony 880, departs from the norm and adds a 128x160 pixel full

Easily programmed for basic commands ; Nice LCD-hybrid remote ; Mac/PC compatible ; Easy enough for grandma to use ; Good battery life and desktop recharging cradle

Limited advanced programming ; Some newer products' inputs not configured correctly in online database ; Only one theme ; Update process feels very slow for USB 2.0
