Logitech Broke MY REMOTE

This company was once a fantastic company.. until recently. I've seen a huge decline in it's service and overall product quality. I had this remote until this weekend when i was prompted by the Logitech Harmony Software (provided by them) to upgrade...

it controls devices

poor customer support

Total waste of money

Save your money buy a real remote not this one!

Haven't found one yet. Though it might be easy to set up from a computer with about a dozen componets I had to use it with it is best to check out Cons below

This using is a total wast of money!!! Once setup by computer it worked for a day or two before needing to be reset by pulling the battery out and reinstalling. The unit kept freezing up. I checked the website and did the update for this remote only to...

Good Hardware / Junk Software

Works with every device in my house except Wii. Good range. Controlls my Onkyo's volume better than the Onkyo remote

Software (required to configure remote) is complete junk ; 1) Requires online account to configure remote ; 2) Requires update check to configure remote ; 3) Wants to run in system tray 24/7 ; 4) One online account per REMOTE (yes i said REMOTE) ; 5)...

Nice remote, but time for a new model

To use as a Media Center remote, choose device type: Media Center PC, Manufacturer: Microsoft, Mode: "Windows Media Center SE". This profile contains the MCE remote buttons as well as the IR keyboard shortcuts. Despite the age of the model, this is...

Controls just about everything with an IR receiver, including Lutron Maestro IR wall/lamp dimmers ; Wife-friendly activity buttons ; easy to customize ; easy to program

Unlike the 1000 and 890, does not support ZWave or any other RF devices. Even when linked with the Logitech RF extender, you can ONLY control IR devices ; Very slow and clunky by current hardware standards. But this model is almost 3 years old....

Poor Quality and Horrible Customer Care

I would not reccomend this product.

None

1)The Screen is incredibly delicate. I've owned this remote for less than 3 months and it has a crack in the screen and no longer responds to commands. 2) Logitech does not back there product. Alothough I have a 1 year warranty on it, they refuse to...

Windows Media Center / Don't Buy

I bought this for my projector, receiver, and pc. Couldn't get software to work right so had to use another computer. Found out the RF isn't RF, just the ability to buy something else then send your IR signal through it via RF. Save the money and buy a...

Less remotes for lazy people like me to pick up. If it worked

RF remote that doesn't control RF devices ; No PC Support or PC integration from a PC based company ; Have to re-program both the RF extender and remote via USB every time you change something ; Software is awful, essentially a web site with yes or no...

LOGITECH Remote

Newegg does not promote the logitech rf extender as a combo with this, but all you have to do is USB to website and you can contril up to eight devices with it go Logitech

This remote blows my mind it is best out there as I have 10 devices hook up and all work great. I don't know why this does not get the respect from other reviews here

Newegg combo rosewill rf extender it does not work well with this

Great remote

Never have FedEx send any form of product to you.

Replaces all my remotes (TV, XBOX 360, STB REMOTE, AMPLIFIER) ; Just had to put in model codes into computer, plug remote into usb, update, and I was done

Paid next day delivery but the florida snow drivers (people from Florida who never saw a snow flake before call the police and track it down until the police get there and by that time it melts) of FedEX (my -2 egg) were afraid of snow so I got it in a...

Pretty good

The touch screen is fine, but it is clear the interface for the remote could be better. By that I mean it would be just as easy to swipe or move your finger back and forth to navigate menus rather than having touch buttons to do so. It is clearly time...

This is the most advanced Logitech remote available. Nice touch screen and not too heavy. Has a nice charging stand and the physical buttons are backlit. I like that it can have 8 commands on the edges. That is enough to encompass what I typically use....

I could not easily program the remote to work with my media center PC. More precisely W7 64 bit Ultimate with MC. I had to choose HP as the manufacturer of the computer even though I made the computer. There should be a generic Media Center profile. I...
