Logitech Harmony One Advanced Universal Remote

Setup aside, this is the easiest universal remote we've found yet.

Intuitive touchscreen and button controls ; Knowledgable phone support

Complex setups tax the wizard ; Expensive

The remote has a Help button to aid in diagnosing and fixing setup issues, but after going back and forth with the Setup Wizard, I decided to contact Logitech's tech support (available via e-mail or toll-free phone). I should have done that right off...

Logitech Harmony One Advanced Universal Remote

Logitech's Harmony division have put a lot of of effort into the One, so we put it to the test to see if it all paid off. In addition to the comfortable design and individually contoured buttons, the One features a large LCD screen, support for over...

Comfortable design ; Contoured buttons for easy memorization ; Huge support, relatively easy to configure ; No batteries

Issues with installation using a Mac ; Could have felt more solid

All of the devices I had were properly recognized and functioned correctly, with the exception of the Apple TV. There happened to be an Apple Hi-Fi near the Apple TV, so the One would confuse the two devices since all Apple products use the same signals.

Logitech Harmony One is my second Harmony remote, and the best one I have ever used. It's simply amazing how a single remote can do the work of so many others it replaced for me and much more. No matter how many times I change my home devices and buy...

Easy to program new devices

Rechargeable battery died after 2 years and original replacements are pricy

Logitech Harmony One Review - Remote Controls

I tried quite a few universal remotes, at no small expense, and each was a disappointment. With many the setup process was painstaking, requiring multiple trials and/or direct IR programming. Almost all of them were difficult to use in some way,...

Easy to program, easy to use

Spilling Grand Marnier on it could ruin it

Logitech Harmony One Review - Remote Controls

I really like this product. I switched from a Harmony Xbox remote and this is way better. It's not like having a Crestron Remote but pretty damn good. No batteries to mess with, no green screen. It works great and is very easy.

It does exactly what I want it to do. The activities are easy to set up. The Favorites are easy to set up. Everything works great

It could be a little bit more customizable

Logitech Harmony One Review - Remote Controls

This is my second Harmony product and by far the best. To be able to customize the buttons for each activity (watching TV, playing Blueray or just listening to Music) and then place those in the order that meets your individual needs is outstanding. I...

Easy to program using online website. You can create your own commands, move them or sequence in any order. Great with Blueray players streaming Netflix, Vudu, Pandora, etc

Lacks RF and is a bit pricey

Logitech Harmony One Review - Remote Controls

This is our second Harmony remote. As with the first, I got this one set up in under an hour. I am not a tech whiz, but I'm able to handle basic tech related tasks. I didn't find the set up at all complicated or difficult. I'm not sure what problems...

easy to use

price is a little high

Logitech Harmony One Review - Remote Controls

I've now gone through my second one, the first being a 880 and the latest a Harmony One. On the 880 the buttons started to stop working, and now on the Harmony One, we can't get the remote to charge on the charger. It's a constant struggle pushing,...

Easy setup, it's a great user interface and is a snap to setup

Horrible quality and durability

Logitech Harmony One Remote Control reviews

Apart from it's multi-room interface and the fact that it is portable (unlike the Logitch H1) it's also less expensive (around $70).

The Re is a personal, portable remote- easy to set up and easy to control devices anywhere. The real power is its customization capabilities. You can build the remote interface you want for any activity and power it with macros and favorites? lists

Didn't really miss button feel and after a few days adjusting the button layout on the remote I was happy with the touch screen. Favorites? lists take a while to create, but your effort is rewarded. Not too many cons really

Logitech Harmony One Review - Remote Controls

Get a kameleon or similar less smart remote if you have anything like a home theater/entertainment system

promises the world, fancy touch screen

It insists on turning on/off unnecessary devices and gives you no choice to reprogram. I have tried for 18 months to iron this thing out I got NO help from support. They have listed my problems as solved
