It broke

It worked fine for a while. Good controls. Lets you do everything you need to do

It broke. I have had 2 of these brake so far. The first one I opened it up and it started working agian, but the second one just completely broke. I didn't drop it, it just stopped working

Does the job.

I use my MCE remote with SageTV, not XP MCE. It worked OK, but then I got a USB-UIRT to replace Microsoft's IR receiver and it is now perfect. The USB-UIRT allows the MCE remote to be programmed to work perfectly with SageTV ; It also worked great...

None when used as intended. Well, it did stop working once, but the paperclip trick brought it right back to life

But why?

I have bought this remote expecting to atleast get 2-3 years out of it. This is not the case. Bashing I will since I spent xx bones on this and I don't feel I need to jump it with a paperclip to use it.

Nice Layout

Stops working

Works great! Don't believe the bashers.

I have two of these remotes on different systems and both work perfectly. Both have had a problem in the past where they stop working. A quick google revealed the only repair you need to make. Momentarily short the battery terminals with a paper clip....

None

Took forever to get

Well laid out

Took (8) days to get, even though I paid for (3) day shipping. BEWARE - Newegg is shipping UPS now, and UPS is not very good

Microsoft A9O-00018 WinXP Media Center Infrared Remote Control w/ Receiver

less than 2 days

This item worked great for the first 36 hours before it suddenly died. Swaped out batteries, unplugged USB etc... Nothing worked. Newegg states you have to go to Mfr for warranty.
