Great remote. Worth the extra money

I had read several reviews on this before making a purchase. My concern was that it would be difficult to get connected, but that was not the case at all. I have only had it a few days, but so far it's awesome!

I find myself using the MC-36 quite a bit more than I thought I would, and I'm sure anyone contemplating purchasing one knows what they're all about. I originally purchased it because I like the idea of using it during long exposures or awkwardly...

Performs as described

I bought mine sometime last year, before august. I put the AAA batteries in. The unit has been displaying information nonstop since I took it out of the package and I have not changed the batteries yet. The manual says battery life in this unit hovers...

OVERKILL!

Well I am a brand kinda guy. This unit is very nice but it's big and somewhat awkward for me. It does have many functions but I don't use them. I may use the elapsed time mode some day... This is a good unit but there are many cheaper choices out...

Nikon MC-36 Multi Function Remote

Once I figured out the plug (one time thing), it is fantastic. It works great with my D300. Portraits will be easier as well as looking forward to getting some great pictures this summer of the Perseid meteors.
