A big improvement over a self timer

This remote works with many other Olympus models, too. I use it with a C750 and an E500 SLR. It totally eliminates camera wobble when used with a tripod because you don't have to touch the camera. It's far better than a timer if you want to be ......

Excellent for group shots when you want in the photo. Shoot when everyone is ready, not 10 sec later. Great for use with a tripod

Yes, you CAN sit behind the camera and use this! (e-500)
