I saw the reviews and bought this after our old remote control died. You have to press the buttons so hard and make sure it is pointing directly at the Sky box to illict any sort of response from it, rendering it almost unusable. I have now paid up £20...

Some of the navigation buttons don't work very well. Seemed ok at first but when trying to select channels it doesn't work then skips the one you're trying to select. But the fast forward/rewind button are fine which is why we replaced the last one!

The product works better than the original remote I got from Sky. I wonder why Sky did not give me this type in the very beginning. The supplier surely knows how to satisfy customer needs.

Arrived earlier than specified and is identical to the original. Unfortunately the button for 'mute' and the one to change the sound do NOT work. I could not be bothered to send it back for a replacement, so use the remote belonging to the TV if I want...

Our remote was worn out and driving us mad. Reserved one in argos for £24.99, but thankfully looked on amazon first. Some of the reviews were a bit off putting, folk whinging about poor quality and not like the original. Glad I ignored the whingy ones....

this remote contoller came on time and well wrapped but the volume control did not work at all so not much good....... the rest of the bottoms worked fine ....
