Product Specifications

Whether you've lost one or more original remote controls or simply want to reduce the number of plastic wands floating about the living room, the Magnoavox PM525 universal remote is ready to become the unified command center for your TV, VCR, DVD player, cable box and satellite receiver. This remote is equipped with a command-learning feature, which lets the remote learn commands from your original equipment remote control. Use the code-search button to se up the remote. The remote automatically times out if the buttons are depressed for longer than 30 seconds, conserving your battery power. The PM525 offers a glowing keypad for easy use in darkened home theaters, runs on 2 AAA batteries. Codes are stored in permanent memory for 10 minutes while you're changing batteries so you won't lose any codes stored in the remote at those times. A sleep timer can be set to turn the TV off up to a maximum of 99 minutes after it's programmed to do so.
