It works ok. It has a bit of a time delay when u press the buttons but overall it works fine. The seller got this to me within 3 days of purchase so I was very pleased.

This remote was a life saver. I forgot that you could use PS2 to play your DVD's. I lost my feed for my sourround sound with my DVD player through my stereo but not my PS2. This remote brought back life to the movies we watch.

If you want a DVD Remote, always, ALWAYS buy it from Sony. Not only will an off-brand remote (or anything else) possibly break down your system, but it's hardly even worth it (price-wise). My mother bought me this one to go with my PS2 for it's price...
