Awesome!

I bought this for the IR transceiver only. The remote seems to work fine. I upgraded to a Harmony Ultimate Home remote control and it stopped working. Not even with the Rosewill remote. I replaced with an old USB transceiver I never used and it works...

Works great eHome compatible

None.

Works OK for now

My previous remote for a satellite receiver was bulkier and had larger tactile buttons. When this one breaks I will be looking for a better option.

I needed for a home multimedia PC. Works well with Windows Media Center. IR receiver is on a USB cable so I can place it in an optimum position. Not bad for the price.

This remote seems a bit flimsy. I have not broken it yet, but it does not look like it could take being dropped too many times. The learning functions are for using this with a cable box, not turning a monitor on/off. Buttons are a bit small and...

Setup required, but works well with Ubuntu 14.04

- Didn't take eggs off for the cons because it's advertised as a Windows remote and works well in Linux once it's configured. - Got it on sale for $14 and it seems like a decent remote for a good price. Would probably have looked into other options if...

Works well with Ubuntu 14.04 running the latest kernel. Although the remote is semi-supported out of the box by the latest kernel, it initially worked very poorly (very laggy, some buttons didn't work). Proper configuration required an installation of...

- When unplugging and replugging the USB IR receiver, intermittent kernel panics occur. I think this is an issue with lircd. - Setup might be a headache for some people. Cheaper remotes exist which emulate keyboard presses and are a much better option...

Got 2 and 1 is dead after 3 days

Worked fine out of the box

One of them just died after 3 days on my new build. The remote is fine its the sensor that just stopped working. Not sure if I should return it and try another brand.

Cheap, works great

Works with the "old" Microsoft branded remote sensor

No backlit or illuminated buttons for operating in dark rooms

Don't buy this

Fine as an MC relote

Programming specific buttons is almost impossible. All you should have to do is activate learning and program a button but the manual for this is 12 pages long and doesn't work
