Works well with my HTPC

Simple and effective HTPC addition

I installed this on my new Win7-WMC HTPC for the living room, and I have been pleased overall with it. Once I installed the drivers and connected the IR receiver, the remote worked immediately in Win7-WMC, and it's been very effective. I'll eventually...

Simple ; Works without configuration in Win7 ; Comprehensive controls ; Good IR receiver

USB extension cable too short

Super Easy

Just a heads up / note for others but WMC on Win 7 x64 Ult does not natively support Netflix. There is an addon you can install that will provide support though and was fairly easy to find through Google.

Super easy to install and setup. Comes with a micro cd containing software that allows control over the big green button (launch WMC or Netflix through WMC). * Item does come with batteries, 2 AAA

None so far, works fine. Maybe the extension USB cable could be longer? But my PC has front ports so it was not an issue for me

Tried to install the I/R receiver in three different computer (all of them running Windows 7) and none of them was able to find the correct driver. I/R receiver have no cable, need a front USB plug. The remote control have no illumination. I called and...

Remotely Interesting

I bought this out of frustration with my local cable company as part of my PVR project. The USB dongle was what I really wanted but the remote works well enough that I've been using it most of the time. All the buttons work as you'd expect except for...

Works as advertised, all the needed buttons are there

Some of the buttons are quite small. No eggs off because you can clearly see in the picture that they are indeed small

Works perfectly out of the box

Plugged the dongle into the Win7 box, and it controlled my GOM player just fine. I hit the windows key, and the setup for Windows Media Center poped up (I had never set that up) - I acutally bought this for a future HTPC build ; Range is decent I can...

Typical cheap carbon zinc batteries - but almost everyone sends those out - so not really a major con
