Works. Cord too short

I bought this strictly for the IR receiver as I use Harmony remotes with my HTPCs. The included USB extension cord is only 1 ft long. At that length your only choice is to put the receiver next to your HTPC. A 3 ft cord would have been much better,...

Works as WMC IR receiver for Win 7 ; IR receiver is small and compact

Included USB cord is only 1 ft long

Great Deal

Plugged in, works out of the box with no need to install extra software. Used on Windows Media Center HTPC running Windows 7. Great buy if you catch it on sale

It's a smaller remote with smaller buttons of course. If you have large hands it will take a moment to get used to, but not too bad at all. Still worth it in my book ; It also doesn't make grilled cheese sandwiches, but for the price I am not...

Decent remote

Got this as a spare and to use on a networked Win7 machine, accessing media files on my HTPC. WMC is probably Microsoft's best program. If you haven't played with WMC yet, give it a shot. It's awesome!

Plug and play - I plugged in the infrared receiver, gave Windows 7 a minute to install the software automatically, and it worked. No extra software was needed, although it came with a disc. Remote was not immediately compatible with my Hauppage TV...

I don't like the button placement. Due to the curvature of the bottom of the remote, when held "naturally" my thumb ends up exactly on the "OK" button. The pause, play, cue, ff, and rew buttons are far enough forward that I have to slide my hand up to...

Great, if only Wireless device.

I am a fairly tech savvy guy, even work in the field. I know these things conflict when have two of the same adapter. But, this thing killed all my wireless adapter and my bluetooth adapter, and my USB hubs and when rebooted with wired keyboard and...

None found. Did not work with any of my hardware, The module nuked all my USB and all other RF and bluetooth adapter drivers

I have a media center that is using a bluetooth keyboard and a RF mouse. I tried to sync this up with the RF module with my mouse knowing that 2 RF modules will conflict with each other. Well, plugged this thing in, and it nuked all my wireless devices...

illuminated buttons?

I bought this kinda assuming the clear buttons would be illuminated to a certain degree, maybe not LED power but at least like glow in the dark. I was wrong in assuming this.

It works with WMC ; Responsive

Buttons aren't illuminated

Nice for watching Netflix

Strong receiver, works well.

Small, lightweight. Works well with Windows media player. If you have the Netflix add-on for Media player, they work hand-in-hand

Buttons are sometimes small and hard to find, especially if you have the lights off watching a movie. Not too bad though

Perfect XBMC remote, Good Range, Short USB receiver

It does the most important things very well!

Works out-of-the-box with XBMC, Good Range, No Quirks

A bit small/tiny keys, very short cable for USB receiver, no LED light on USB receiver

Awesome in so many ways

Purchased as an after thought as a combo item for essentially free, I had no idea it would work using MCE thru my 360. Couldn't be more stoked about this item! Buy it! It's worth every penny!

Using with Xbox 360 in concert with the HD movies on my PC. Love it ! Zero issues, and do much more this can do

None so far

Works Great

Receiver sits on top of my HTPC and picks up the signal great. No setup issues just plugged it in and started watching TV

I have a long living room so if I walk to the other end of the room the receiver doesn't pick up the signal. But it works fine from the couch
