Works great

This is a great remote. I bought it to use with my HTPC and Windows Media Center. One issue I had with the remote was the lack of a "Previous Channel" but I by accident one day, I discovered this functionalily by hitting the OK button. I did not see...

It's not back lit, but I knew this when buying it

Not a great remote

The heading was a little confusing, it said netflix function, i thought there would be an actual button but nope. it's not worth returning it for that reason.

Small feels good in your hand, small receiver, decent range and angle

Some buttons are too small, hard to press the correct arrow button on the arrow pad, no actual netflix button

Great remote for the price paid, RC6 compatible

We have 4 Windows 7 HTPCs around the house and the two of them are controlled, at times, by a rambunctious 7-year-old. Needless to say, we have gone through a lot of remotes over the years. We started with the excellent Microsoft brand remotes and just...

Has every button that a MCE Remote can have (includimng DVD controls buttons that I haven't ever seen on an MCE remote, RC6 compatible, compact, decent button response, sleep button also acts as the "activity LED

For the price paid, none found. Lighted keys would be nice

update

Will work for what I want it for ... just wish I didn't have to use the usb dongle.

update to earlier review - Remote works fine with USB dongle that is included - was hoping I didn't have to use it because the computer has built-in receiver but no luck there

Software included will not run on Windows Vista every time I put the disc in it comes up and says it is for windows 8 only

Piece of junk, buy a better brand!

I build my own computers and am very familiar with installing all types of software and drivers, but this thing would not work. I read the other reviews, some of which said the same thing, but I got it on black Friday for $12.99, so I thought it would...

It didn't explode in my face when I opened the box? I only bought one

Didn't work, poor instructions(doesn't tell you what order to install the software or the receiver), remote felt cheap

Works well

The remote is smaller than it appears in the pictures, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. I have an older Rosewill remote that is wider, but it doesn't have the range that this one does.

Good range ; Fits small hands ; Solid Feel to it, no squeaking pressure is applied ; Reciever picks up the signal from any direction I've tried

I have medium sized hands, and the buttons are almost too small, especially the arrow cluster. it flows well with the thumb, but if my thumb was any bigger i might have trouble pushing the center button

Better than expected

It feels well made, it doesn't look cheap, and seems to have a very wide angle beam. If the dongle worked with my keyboard, I'd have given it a 5, and certainly a great replacement.

Small form factor, looks good, all MC functions included. Comes with a dongle and a extension cable for the dongle. The dongle is small also, thumb-drive sized

The direction button placement around OK button is really tight and can lead to some accidental selections. included dongle wont accept mouse commands from windows MCE keyboard

Solid Remote

The remote could be backlite, but otherwise seems really solid.

Just plugged it in and voilà it worked

Really requires line of sight to work, which I expected
