Everything you need, nothing you dont.

An excellent inexpensive remote control that work ; This thing is very very good: light, all the right controls all in the right places, no drivers needed, no lag

A backlight would be nice

Media Center Remote

Purchase the Intelliremote to unlock the full potential of this remote. Intelliremote software full version senses the software you load, such as XBMC or VLC or Media Center and you can then program the remote to do whatever functions you need it to...

This works right out of the box with Windows 7 Ultimate Media Center. I paired this with some software I found called Intelliremote which I purchased after playing with the freeware version. The Intelliremote software unlocks the full potential of...

The remote isn't really a universal remote but, it does work well for my purpose, which was a Media Center Remote

Eggcellent

I've used this pretty much on a daily basis for the last year, I still haven't had to replace the batteries. I use this with Windows Media Center, Media Browser extension on a HTPC. It's not very flashy, but it does the job well!

Works with both my Windows 7 and XBox 360 right out of the box ; The USB Infrared Receiver has a long enough cord so I can place it where I want it ; The angle this works with its receiver (not the XBox) is very good. I can point it in the opposite...

Sometimes controls the XBox and the PC at the same time. It would be nice if there were a switch or something to tell it who to "talk" to ; It does not work with other media players such as VLC. However, I think this is a Windows problem not a remote...

Works great

never used the actual remote but like I said before it works great with Logitech Harmony One. Set it up as a Microsoft device and enter media center as the model. No need to program the IR codes.

USB IR input works great with my Harmony One remote. I can now use it to run windows media center

Couldn't get the USB input without the remote

HTPC remote

I easily programed my Logitech Harmony 880 to the Rosewill receiver.

Works as advertised. Plugged in the USB receiver, drivers self installed, was using the remote with WMC moments later

defective device

If you need a reliable remote order Item#: N82E16823166095 - Adesso ARC-1100 Vista Infrared Remote Control. It may not look as fancy but it works and it has a mousepad!!!

Newegg's return policy

Defective. Arrived with pushed in stuck buttons ; Another RMA. Waste of time

Killer Product!

For the price, this remote is pretty nice. Granted, I've not tried any other models this was my first choice after looking at others. I had a choice between the Hauppauge that came with the tuner card or this one. A few people gave the included remote...

Works out of the box, first try. Lightweight yet, feels very solid. Buttons are great

None really. Wish it had an eject button for the DVD player

Works for me...

Works automatically in Windows 7 Ultimate. Receiver not as finicky as some I've seen. Inexpensive
