Didn't work with my TV

Three members of the family tried multiple times to program this remote to one particular TV. It NEVER worked. Plus my son tore up the package. So I'm stuck with a $15 remote that does not appear to work.

Do not know

Does not work with my TV

Fastest set up EVER!

I bought this for a Hitachi (rear projection - 53") TV - so kinda an old TV for these days. Set up was soooo easy. It detected the code of the TV right away! No need to keep the manual for any "codes" as a reference that you may use this for other...

Buttons are ergo

Great For the price

I really like this remote, it set up very easy and does everything I want it to do. My only problem with it is that there is no back lighting for the buttons and as I watch tv with the lights off most of the time this is very important(My own fault I...

Set up and ease of use

No back lit buttons

Great bargain universal remote

I will say, I am tough when it comes to the grading scale. I want it to do everything I need it for or it gets marked down. This remote was extremely easy to program. I didn't have to use codes on anything, the auto learn worked for every device I had....

Incredibly easy to program, enough programable buttons, and the audio punch is great

No backlit keys, and the macro buttons run through steps like lightning

Easy to use

Easy set up and easy to use. I purchased this remote because our puppy ate the old one. My husband was forever "pushing the wrong button". I would have to reprogram or "fix" the remote. This remote is easy to program and pretty idiot proof to use....

easy set up and use! Great price

Excellent. Can access all features of each device

I needed a single remote to control a Panasonic plasma TV and a Samsung BD-c5500. I wanted all features of each to be accessible. The first remote I brought home, an RCA, could not access all features, which was the decisive factor. Nor could it access...

Makes all features of a device accessible, allows control of volume and channel independent of remote's mode

Instructions for programming volume and sound are slightly ambiguous

Good product for the price

My main reason for getting this remote is for the "learning" function. I have a tiny cable box that no universal remote has a code for, so this remote is perfect for my needs. Programming it was pretty easy and took less than 5 minutes to do. I can now...

That you can teach ANY remote to work with this remote with the learning function

No problems yet

Really? How many people have controllable lights?

I bought this thinking I could control 6 separate devices (TV, Cable, Surround, DVD, VCR, XM). But the Surround and the XM are both designated as 'Audio'. Typically, one would use the 'AUX' device type for XM or at least be able to change the AUX...

Can't change component button type

Does all I need at a low price

This is a great remote and it's only $20 or so. I programmed my TV, speaker system, DVD player, and TV box. The Macro buttons are nice - after setting it up, I just have to push the A button and everything turns on to watch TV, the B button and it's...

Good price, a lot of features

Not as fancy as the expensive remotes

Can't find the remote?

At some point someone (no one takes the blame) lost the DVD remote. We purchased this remote to replace it and it has become our remote of choice! Easily programed it now runs the DVD, TV & Cable. What makes it a cut above others out there (including...

Good all around features
