Works great

Use this to control an Emerson tv (4 years old), RCA vcr (9 years old), Kawasaki dvd player (5 years old), digital converter box.

Works great, easy to set up

None for us

Great Remote, Completely Satisfied

Completely satisfied. I doubt I would have much been happier buying the $150 remote just for the touch screen macro capability when I have a perfectly good remote here, for much, much less.

Quick, no hassle programming. Just turn on your device to be programmed, hold the button on the remote that corresponds with the device, press 1-9 on the remote until the device turns off, then release button. Easy as that ; Very simple manual button...

Had to manually program some buttons for a couple of my devices, not really a con because it is to be expected, but in a perfect world, everything should work out-of-the-box. haha

It's a breeze

Great price and it did let me consolidate two (2) remotes into one (1). Unfortunately my new Yam*ha audio receiver remote has just way too many buttons for me to program onto this thing.

Works well! Easy to program

Just not enough buttons on it to swap over all my different remotes buttons

got it the next day!

This thing found the code to my TV, VCR, DVD, and my Dish box. This is the first time i was able to access the menu and change inputs on the TV, since we never had a remote for it

The only problem was for the Dish, the skip forward and reverse buttons didnt work. but it was easy to program them using the original remotes

Awesome remote

This thing is great. I can now control all of my devices from one remote that was very easy to set up. I am using this to control my TV / Surround Sound / Windows 7 Media Center / VHS player. Lots of configuration options to make life simple. My wife...

None, may buy another just to make sure I have a spare

Great Remote

Tons of functions, love the high-purched rubber buttons with a very nice feel. Several ways to find the access codes to your equipment, and I love the extra "macro" buttons to perform many tasks with the push of a single button. And, finally I could...

So far, none

I bought one based on the reviews

Don't hesitate to contact tech support @ Universal Remote. They sent me an easy-to-follow set of steps that clarified what I found confusing. This is an excellent product.

While not the no-brainer setup I expected, once I got the hang of it I was able to program the desired functions of 5 remotes, including one that had no listed code numbers. This thing does it all. HIGHLY recommended

I found one part of the owner's manual confusing

Where have you been all my life?

Just got a new 26" Auria flat screen from Newegg for the bedroom and the cable remote was just too old to custom program for the TV. I quickly got tired of juggling remotes in the dark. Also recently discovered I couldn't find the remote for the 10...

Easy to program, easy to use, inexpensive

Works great, easy to program

Haven't had a chance to use macro commands or "favorites" yet. Liked the 2 I ordered so much I ordered another 4.

1) Very well-written instructions ; 2) Learning function (by aiming other remotes at it) works great, and is simple to do ; 3) Controls the very annoying Comcast box (by Pace) after learning the commands (as in 2 above) ; 3) logically-arranged buttons...

Doesn't have quite as many pre-labeled buttons as I would like, such as "sleep", although other buttons can be programmed to provide the same function

I Love This Remote

Don't limit yourself to just the TV room. Using the learning feature, I taught my remote how to turn the Living Room Fan and A/C on and off. Pretty Cool!

The remote can learn any IR command! The process of programming the remote is very easy, and if the codes leave you with buttons that don't work, simply "teach" the remote using the old remote control. The Volume and Channel "punch-through" features...

One one or two occasions I've had the remote fail to learn a command, but I tried it a few more times and it picks it right up
