Works great

Works great. Works with my Toshiba TV and my Samsung surround sound

I read online that it worked with the little comcast digital converter boxes. That was completely incorrect. Nothing seems to work with those boxes

Remote control made easy

Easy of use and was able to program all of my components

Learning curve on programming from remote to remote. Once you get the hang of it, then it's easy

Old School Remote

Quick and easy setup - hold the component button (IE:TV) down and press numbers sequentially until it turns off. I had the basics for my Sony TV, Yamaha Receiver, and Xbox 360 programmed in 5 minutes ; Supports macros (IE: Activities) that take a...

Must use the remote itself to program - non-USB / software supported that we've gotten ourselves spoiled to ; Not back lit ; You'll need an original OEM to truly tweak to it's full potential

I've got old (VCR) and new (Blu-ray, amp) components and wasn't able to make all my other remotes control enough of the other components; I had to use 2-3 depending on what we were watching. The learning mode saves the day there.

3 levels of setup; the first level is dead easy and had 3 of 5 devices working in the first minute. The second level was too frustrating, involving clicking up or down arrow keys over and over hoping to hit on it. The Learn mode though is excellent. I...

No lighting - you have to learn the locations ; Learn mode was a little finicky - I had to repeat the same sequence more than once; the safest is to program only one button at a time and then save it, and be sure to hold down long enough on the save ;...

inflation? what inflation? $20 still goes a long way

I'm pretty jaded on technology and am more amazed by what people waste their time, money, and ingenuity on says about their values than their mojo And i don't do social, not least of all at on-line shopping sites, swapping reviews. (Apologies to any...

1. Working as advertised ; 2. Dirt-inexpensive ; 3. Both 1 and 2 are correct and, in combination, surprising

1. Can't clone and put in cryogenic storage, in case something happens to it

I wasted alot of time trying to find a universal remote that would control my Philips DVD/Home theater system. While this unit did not work using the Philips code, the learn function programs most any button to do exactly what the original remote did....

Learn function seems to allow control of any button on any remote

Having to shift positions in the hand to access various buttons, and it's large size. You would think that the size of electronics these days, someone could make a remote the size of...maybe a mobile phone

URC R6 AVEX Universal Infrared Remote Control

Pretty solid remote. Has most of the buttons that a universal remote should have, feels well constructed, doesn't seem any worse off than a typical manufacturer's remote for a tv or dvd player. VERY easy to program. It has a few different modes you can...

Signal seems a little weak. The reciever on my TV responds well to it but my audio player has trouble getting the signal about 1/2 of the time. I have to be at just the right angle for it to pick it up. This, though, could be due to low signal strength...

great product at a great price

Works with all components. Not all TV controls worked with the code (didn't work with my Uverse remote either) but using the learning function, it performs every task that the original TV remote does. Using the learning feature, you can also use it to...

affordable, nice button setup

can't program through PC, like logitech, but price outweighs that problem

Nice big remote control

Easy read buttons, lightweight, little oversize remote. Come with instructions and code inside. It does only one easy set up on TV, other may be requires enter code for each device. It has non-violent memory by batteries removed for long period time...

No backlighting keys or glow in dark keys, some work on satellite system but "last" key (typically "go back" or "perivous" channel) did not work as well. If you had TV built in "Input mode" which causes interupt "Input" when changes with different...
