Its very easy to set up, but the remote conflicts with the tv. If I turn the tv off I can then use the remote, frustrating to say the least, and very sporadic in its nature Will need to buy another one

These 'F' type connectors are for satellite cable to connect the dish to the satellite receiver or skybox. Mine went into a Humax Foxsat receiver and worked perfectly. You need double core cable and three F connectors if you want to record programmes....
