I bought one of these just under a year ago. It just keeps on freezing up. I keep on having to unplug it and reboot. Even then there is no guarantee that it will be fully functional. Don't waste your money on this one.

The earlier reviewer misused the booster. It goes between the dish and receiver. A regular TV booster goes between the receiver and TV if using channel 3. HDMI, component, composite are not good for any distance.
