I installed roughly 10 of these and every one has failed within a year of being put in service. Some of them have failed multiple times and some have failed in a manner of months. Most common problem is a loud humming with audio output. Sometimes the...

Works great for several months

 

We have gone through two of these in the past year. Works great for a while, and then it dies an ugly death. Hi, Blair. Hopefully we will be able to get them fixed under warranty.

Product Specifications

The Crown 180MAX Pack can be used in restaurants, retail stores, coffee shops and other commercial establishments. The system includes the Crown 180MAx tuner-mixer amplifier, four JBL Control 1ST 2-way loudspeakers with built-in 70V transformers, XM antenna and a wireless remote control. A front-panel LCD screen displays XM Radio channel data (channel number, channel name, artist name, song title) 16 station presets and signal strength. Current and thermal limiting protects the amplifier and loudspeakers from accidental overload.
