H25 Satellite Receiver - - 16:9 - 1080p (DiSEqC 2.0 - HDTV 1080p - USB - Smart Card)

I purchased this reciver as it was a little cheaper than having the service tech install one I wish Direct TV would service it's customers better and just ship the one from there warehouse you still have to pay for the equipment rental and it does...

It doesn't hold as much data as the older one it replaced. I called DTV but they insist it does but it does not. For some reason it only holds half the data that it is supposed to.

I use the H25 in my bedroom. It is blazing fast compared to my H23 and the small makes it easy to place. Also, the internal DECA is very convenient for MRV.

I had DirecTV installed about two months ago with the whole home setup using a SWM/Deca configuration. SWM (Single Wire Management) is nice as DVRs now only need one wire as opposed to two. The Deca box is whats used to network all your boxes together...
