I am very glad I bought this device. It was cheap enough that I could afford something that I wasn't planning to buy for another year at least. My wife is happy because we don't have a stack of video tapes to shuffle through!

It was very cheap but it basically just works. The menu structure is clear enough that my wife can program it.

The program titles are usually incorrect, suspect they aren't coping with daylight saving in WA. Sometimes you need to give it a "kick" to get the digital audio back again - it seems to drop out when you're watching something and another recording...
