Satellite booster

 

The earlier reviewer misused the booster. It goes between the dish and receiver. A regular TV booster goes between the receiver and TV if using channel 3. HDMI, component, composite are not good for any distance.

Absolute garbage

 

I have a long cable run from a satellite receiver to a back bedroom, which causes a snowy picture, and wanted to clear it up a bit. This "amplifier" completely garbled the signal to the point that you can hardly see the picture at all. Do not buy this...

They should call this a signal scrambler. Picture quality went from slightly snowy to completely unviewable. I wish I could give it zero eggs, but that isn't an option
