It's Great!(ish)

Personally I don't use the car kit, I just keep it around "in case". But I prefer using the boombox, gets much better sound. Along with a power converter, it's easy to use in the car, just watch the sound levels. I have used this item for 3 years...

Works Very well with the boom-box I bought to go along with it. Produces Great sound, and I have rarely ever had a reception problem that I couldn't easily fix myself

When I originally bought the item, they sent me a dead receiver, It started up with a X, I had to get them to re-send me a new one

Superb driving experience!

I commute 40 minutes one way to work. The Kansas City line up of am/fm radio is terrible. This has been the best thing ever to come out for music. %95 of the time I have Great reception, very few "non" reception areas. I would recommend this device to...

I like the display screen. Great variety of music to suit my every mood:)

I am disappointed that this device did not come with a case of some sort. I wound up buying a five dollar usb case. Also, not a big fan of the flimsy plastic attachments to the vents

Faulty hardware, expensive subscription rates

Generally disappointed with this product. Spent a lot of time on customer support lines. Waste of time and money.

I'll let you know if I can get it working

Hardware is flimsy and breaks easy, software is ineffective

Working well

I have the 2006 model so not sure how much applies here. Modulating thru the FM unit gives music something of a garbled sound. It's listenable but nothing like how a CD sounds. After about 1 1/2 years the buttons on my remote starting to not work....

Works good

The sportster 4 does every thing that I ask of it. The buttons are user friendly, and setup is easy. The newer style of sportser plug and play, unfortunately has a Fed Gov't mandatory reduction of it's FM transmitter that may make reception difficult...

Easy to use

need an open area of FM band

Tech Support is Worthless

I have a Sirius SP4 Sportster with the Aux-in port on the front of the docking station. I tried to hook up a Nano using a stereo mini-cable. The sound was very faint and in mono. Thinking that I was using the wrong cable I called Sirius Tech Support...

I really enjoy the music

Tech service from Sirius is a joke. You're on your own

Does Not Have an Aux In!

Please note - the Sirius Sportster 4 does NOT come with an AUX IN thing in the front to plug your IPOD into. I was about to buy the Sportster at RadioShack mostly because of this feature, so I could occasionally play my ipod in it. But when the...

Does the Same as any Sportster

Product Specifications

Now you you can keep up with all of the great play-by-play action on SIRIUS with the Sportster Replay SP4-TK1 plug-and-play satellite radio. It lets you pause and rewind live broadcasts, so you'll never miss a second of the big game. It also has some great features that'll enhance coverage of your favorite teams, and it delivers the rest of SIRIUS's peerless entertainment options. To make sure you're on top of your favorite teams, program Game Alert to let you know whenever your favorite NFL, NBA, NHL, and college team is about to take the field. With NFL broadcasts, you can even choose whether you want to listen to the home or away announcers. The SP4-TK1 automatically records the last 44 minutes of the channel you're listening to. Just hit the Rewind button to get an instant replay of the game-winning touchdown, or press Pause if, say, you're interrupted by a phone call. The 44-minute memory clears every time you change the channel or turn the SP4-TK1 off. And if you're driving to a game, you can program the front-panel Jump button to go directly to your SIRIUS traffic and weather channel to get traffic updates. Features a suction-cup mount that'll attach to any reasonably flat glass surface. Its auxiliary input lets you connect and play your portable MP3 player. A car power adapter and a roof-mount antenna round out the package.
