The main problem with high definition TV is that there's not much to watch. This less than ideal viewing situation makes Virgin Media's new offering all the more interesting. We certainly think Sky will be sitting up and paying attention

Three TV tuners, Good remote, Easy exporting, Dolby Digital 5.1

Menus can be slow in loading, Precious little HD viewing

The V Plus box proves that Virgin is serious about its onslaught on Sky, but it needs to improve its HD content if it is to triumph in the long run
