XM tuner on a cartridge; allows one XM subscription to be used on multiple compatible devices; small adapter provides plug-and-play backward compatibility with older XM-ready products.

Need to purchase adapter for use with older XM-ready products; despite small size, may still be too large for compatibility with truly portable products.

The XM Mini-Tuner is a convenient way to carry your satellite radio subscription with you--and it will become even more useful as more compatible XM-ready devices are released.

Excellent Product

Worked as advertised

The only negative to this product is that the signal strength for this unit seems to be less than the original home docking station I had even with the antenna placed in the identical location.

This miniature cartridge contains the entire XM radio tuner needed to deliver XM satellite radio. The XM Mini-Tuner works with a wide array of existing XM ready products including home stereo and home theater systems, DVD players, mini/micro shelf systems, clock radios, and portable devices.
