Epson Perfection® 4490 Film Scanner (35 mm), Flatbed Scanner

Never having used a computer scanner before buying this one, I was a bit apprehensive about the possibility of having to spend a lot of time learning how to use it. No worry! The installation was extremely easy, and the software makes scanning almost ...

Canon IS12

I run my own insurance business and was always inundated by a sea of paperwork. This little scanner fits into my BJC-85 printer and serves double duty - I can scan and then print with the same machine. Genius! I would have liked the ability to scan...

Epson Perfection® 4870 Flatbed Scanner

I bought my Epson Perfection 4870 scanner in the UK about 4 years ago. It cost about 400 pounds. A cheaper one would have done just as well except I needed the firewire connection to my Mac computers, so choice was limited. Its big and ugly (grey and ...

Mustek ADF S20 Document Scanner

My company decided to turn invoices into electronic records so I bought this scanner because it is reasonably priced. The scanner doesn't disappoint. It scans fast and the resolution is great.

The unit works fine and I am pleased with it. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that it come with no instructions or software. I sent a request to the merchant inquiring about the instructions/software and the reply was not very helpful. I was...

Kodak Document Imaging P811BK 8x10 Personal Photo and Negative Scanner

I have scanned over 2000 pictures, some dating back 60 years, since purchase. Clean scanner about every 200 pictures and it works perfect. Recommend to all. Works best at 600dpi, about 100 pictures per hour at that setting.

Visioneer One Touch 5600

The $79 Visioneer OneTouch 5600 USB will satisfy cost-conscious buyers who are more interested in speed and a versatile software bundle than in top-quality images. For the same price, the HP Scanjet 2200C offers higher-quality images, but with slower...

IRISPen II Executive

The IRISPen II Executive delivers remarkably accurate text scanning. Unlike other pen scanners (including the C-Pen and WizCom QuickLink), the IRISPen II tethers to your PC's USB port. This limits portability, but the trade- off for recognition speed,...

HP Scanjet PRO 4500 FN1 (L2749A)

The HP ScanJet Pro 4500 fn1 Network Scanner is one of very few networkable flatbed document scanners (with an ADF) that we know of. That—for the same or comparable price as its competitors—it comes ready, out of the box, to support both Wi-Fi and...

Kodak I 2420

Conclusion If your scanning needs are heavy enough to benefit from the extra speed that the Canon, Epson, and Xerox models offer, all three are worth considering. The Epson DS-760 offers the fastest speed for image PDF format, the Canon DR-C240 comes...

Kodak I3200

If you want a letter-size flatbed, but also want the Kodak i3200 Scanner's ability to handle larger paper sizes, take a look at the Editors' Choice Kodak i3250 Scanner, which is similar to the i3200 in most ways, but with a flatbed added. That said, if...

Kodak I 3250

Similarly, if you need to scan documents up to 12 inches wide but don't need the letter-size flatbed, you'll be better off with the Kodak i3200, which is essentially the Kodak i3250 Scanner minus the flatbed. That said, if you want the ability to scan...

Canon imageFORMULA CR-80

Great shipping time and good condition. Did not include adaptor for the network cable in the back of the device so we cannot install and have to go out and purchase seperately. Has been a bit of a dissapointment.
