DigitalPersona U.are.U 4500 Finger Print Reader

Easy to install, and use but has issues with not reading some user's biometric signature. It never works for some (African American) users. We deployed over 100 of these, so we have a wide user base to get this type of a result.

Canon DR 5020 Scanner

This item is not what you think it is! It's from way back in 1995, which is a technological ice age ago. It requires a 40 pin SCSI cable to run (which is tricky for the average non-IT person to install). It requires special software to run it, and...

I.R.I.S. Iriscard PRO USB

IrisCard Pro facilitates scanning and recognizing multiple cards in a single session, but it makes more recognition mistakes than its strongest competition.

Visioneer PrimaScan Colorado 2400p

Prima Scan doesnot have a Windows XP driver so its waste to buy the colorado 2400p. It will only work if you have win2000 or win 9x. It was really stupid for a company not to provide a winxp driver.

Xerox DocuMate 152

I bought these for use with my desktop PC so I could listen to music while I'm working. The problem is that the transmitter ONLY works off of a battery charge. In other words, leaving the transmitter plugged in to the AC charger and turned on all day...

Visioneer OneTouch 9120 USB

I wouldn't buy another Visioneer product in a million years. The scanner functioned well for a short time, then gave me an error message that it was locked. It's not. Visioneer offers no solution on its site, even though many many other customers...

Reflecta S1-SCAN 64270

I bought this as a present, but in testing it I found it very good. It is probably best suited for occasional use for dealing with slides and negs that occasionally turn up, rather than higher volume professional use, but that\'s fine for the intended use

Symbol LS 1203

Easypix Cyberscanner P500

The Easy Pix is actually not a scanner at all, even though the name implies. The box uses a light source that shines on the negatives or slides, and then takes a picture, not scans, of the image. The Easypix comes with one 6 35mm negative holder, and...

Visioneer 9750 PDF

The USB 9750 lasted about a year and 4 months before developing problems with one of the internal gears. (pretty bad for $1,000 product) The only option that Visioneer offered was 25% off of the purchase of a new scanner. They do not repair their...

Pacific Image PrimeFilm 7250Pro3

This film scanner works to a fashion, but is certainly not a top-shelf scanner. The included software is in a word bad. The scanner performs many fold better when using the third party software Vuescan. However, even with that, the hardware doesn't...

Microtek Scan-in-Dex 1000

Perceived speeds are underwhelming, perhaps because Plusnet doesn’t offer the 10 or 20Mbps connections some ISPs do. But actual measured speeds tell a more impressive story. Plusnet users enjoy relatively fast connections with a 5.5Mbps average and...
