Great Scanner

I have used this scanner each and every day for over a year without problem. This may not be the most expensive but it is the best you can buy for the price.

So far it's smarter than I am

I spent several hours on my one day off setting up and attempting to learn how to use this scanner. I am not tech wizard AND did work as tech support once, so I can work with clearly explained directions. As tech support for this scanner is not...

Great Old School Technology

This scanner is great for those of us who prefer the old school scanner technology. It's a better product than many that are more expensive. Canon retains its good reputation.

Better than the small handheld scanners

Does a good job with prints or slides, scans of negatives are overexposed and washed out. I bought 2 of these and the both do the same thing. Print scanner software is great and auto crops prints. The organizer software is clumsey and convoluted.

Good value

Not bad, not bad at all

This scanner is great as far as scan quality goes and it has the ability to distinguish between multiple pictures when scanning. All and all I would recommend this to a friend.

Solid and consistent photo quality scanner

This is my 3rd Canon scanner over the years and they just keep getting better. Setup was simple, load the software and plug it in. I have it set up on a KVM switch and it behaves well when switching between 2 Win 7 systems. So far, I've only scanned...

Good midrange scanner

Nothing special, but gets the job done. I use it mostly for scanning documents into PDF, and the documents are crisp and have good contrast, plus it's pretty quick. The only reason for my lower value and feature scores is the software. I admit to not...
