Canon CanoScan 3000ex

At $50 street, the CanoScan 3000ex is priced for a shoestring budget. But the low price begs the obvious question: Can you get a decent scanner for $50? The answer, surprisingly, is yes.

Low price. Reasonably good scans for photos. Offers both a simple interface for beginners and an advanced interface for better control

No feature for removing scratches or dust specks. No feature for restoring colors in faded photos

The Canon CanoScan 3000ex offers basic scanning at up to 1,200 pixels per inch (ppi) optical resolution, with credible scan quality and performance. Its relatively low ratings for photos and OCR reflect a lack of such niceties as an ADF or digital...

Canon - CanoScan 3200F

Good Stuff, can't beat the price!

As they say, good and cheap, cheap and good. This scanner is ok for the price. Like other scanners in this price range I'm sure the glass is stuck on with double sided tape, but it's pretty flush at the top and bottom. If you slide anything between the...
