It's fast. It's cheap. Very easy menustructure.Sharp. Natural colors and a pretty design. I can really recommand it

Only one slide or negative can be scanned. That's not what you expect in 2004. And in my case, it doesn't work with Win2000/USB2. USB1 works fine

Fast, quiet, great photo scans and easy to set-up. I think the text scans are fine - no fuzziness or distortion. Maybe the test unit had a problem? I retired my Epson U640 - great scans but slow, loud and too many software glitches with XP Home

Mine doesn't come w/ dust cover. No power on/off btn, transparency unit protector seems fragile

Good for photos and smallish prints of scanned films. Excellent range across all densities. Good range of supplied S/W

A bit fiddly to use film adaptor. Need to sharpen film scans before printing
