Transfers Slides Easily

Transfers Slides Easily

I bought this scanner primarily to transfer my old slides to a digital format. While the transfer is by no means quick, I am very happy with the results as I can now view and print my slides from decades ago. I have owned it for about 6 months. I have...

I purchased this scanner a few months ago to use especially for scanning old photos & slides, & have really loved it. I have had absolutely no problems with it; it works quickly when plugged into a high speed USB port, & produces high quality...

This scanner serves my needs for copying documents, creating .jpg images from pictures, slides or negatives, creating PDF documents and any other imaging requirements. The included software makes it easy to use and has never caused any false starts....

Easy to use, mostly

I use it mostly for converting 35mm slides to jpgs. Sometimes, for some reason, the scanner treats the slides as negatives. You need to change the order of the slides in the holder to "fool" it back to the 35mm setting. Other than that, it's been...

Great Value

I was having trouble with the front panel buttons not initiating a scan sometimes. This issue seems to have been solved by simply opening the lid of the scanner. I had been scanning the same document over and over using various settings to test image...

Price! Looks brand new. Worked out of the box with drivers and software suite on the cd that came with the unit. Scans look very very good. FAST, even on a 1.8 ghz P4 (albeit with a usb 2.0 addin card). Lots of scanning options. Front panel buttons, 3...

As others have mentioned...glass is smudged on the underside of the glass. Again, doesn't seem to show up in scans though. No network sharing feature! (Yes yes, pie in the sky for $60, I know)

Exactly what I wanted, and a great buy

I am extremely pleased with this scanner. I have scanned over 300 photos since I bought it a few weeks ago, and it has worked flawlessly. It is fast and easy and does an excellent job bringing my b/w family photos from the 1920s through 1950s back to...

Handy slide scanner

Handy slide scanner

The Canon CanoScan 4400F works very well for digitizing your old color transparency images. The device is limited to scanning up to four images at one time, but that is probably faster than some of the other slide scanner devices.

This is The Scanner

This purchase falls in that category, "How did I ever live without it?" Instead of running to the nearest copy machine, I can now scan these materials in my computer files for saving or to attach to e-mails in lieu of not having a fax capability. ...
