Canon imageFormula P-208 Scan-tini Personal Document Scanner

The Canon imageFormula P-208 Scan-tini Personal Document Scanner combines a capable scanner with somewhat limited software.

Duplexes. Automatic document feeder. Scan utility in firmware allows scanning without software installation

No software included for converting scans to editable text

As its name implies, the Canon imageFormula P-208 Scan-tini Personal Document Scanner has a strong family resemblance to the Editors' Choice Canon imageFormula P-215 Scan-tini Personal Document Scanner. As the lower price suggests, it's a step down in...

devourous petit documents muncher scanner

Amazing scanner, its functionality defeats its size. The application driver do not need to be loaded in the OS. Out of the box, can be plugged in XP and have it in service w/o any reboot. It has only two buttons. Read the manual though for the...

A great petit scanner that is handy to scan 10 pages documents at once in around a minute. It is a plug and play, kinda remind me the gizmo hand scanner that I had once attached to by 80286 Sanyo machine ; This thing does not need configuration or...

None, except for the retail price. It is too high. Get it on sale

Canon ImageFORMULA P-208

Canon's ImageFORMULA P-208 is a neat, USB-powered, portable scanner, with optional wireless connection. Strangely, no OCR software, though.

Well-designed support software ; Automated and one-touch scans ; Plastic card scan

Fiddly paper guides ; No OCR software supplied ; Can only scan to graphics files

For some reason, Canon has decided not to supply OCR software with the ImageFORMULA P-208. While we can see the argument that this is a quick scanner for grabbing page images on the move, if you want to extract passages for research or quotes, it’s...

A compact and light portable scanner that comes with brilliant software; the P-208 is nearly perfect

Canon imageFormula P-208

Portable duplex scanners usually come with a price premium attached, but Canon's little P-208 offers this and more for a lot less than the competition. What's more, this compact scanner trumps lighter simplex scanners by cramming in a 10-page ADF.

A compact, affordable duplex scanner that's easy to use, performs well and has some nifty features
