Don't need a computer to run this scanner. Big LCD screen. After reading documentation the UI is pretty user friendly. Fast scanning! I've just setup a shared folder on our network and it saves the scanned file to the folder

Sometimes irritating paper jams or paper won't be feed properly. We'll see in the coming weeks how she performs

Get a stylus for it or the screen gets pretty smudged up. Occasional issue with biometric reading incorrectly. Canon is looking into it
