Excellence, But Not "Perfection"

When I was recently at a computer retailer one of the sales associates pointed out the Epson Perfection 3590 Photo Scanner, particularly the built-in automatic feeder. Having had two previous film scanning solutions, both yielding disappointing...

Automatic feeder, fast scans (USB 2.0), full 12" document glass, no need to Preview scan.

Enlargements from negatives could be sharper, noisy operation.
