You can't go wrong...

The Epson 640U is a great scanner for almost any home user. It produces great scans pretty quickly, and is nicer looking than most of the other boxy-tan scanners on the market.

Fast scans, great quality, good price.

Not for heavy-duty scanning, on the large side.

In general, the Epson Perfection 640u is a very powerful, versatile scanner with lots of extra software to catalog images, make panoramas and print photographs. This product's abilities are definitely not wasted, with vivid scans and useful image...

Detailed vivid scans, USB connectivity, subtle design, easy to use.

OCR software opens seperate window for each scanned page, large footprint.
