The DP 3770 offers a bargain entry into general purpose scanning. However, for the best image quality for photography, we would spend the extra £20 and go for the Epson 2480.

As a user of Hewlett-Packard products (particularly their excellent printers) for many years, this scanner is a total disappointment. Extremely slow to load up the software, and in scanning (if you're happy to wait 3 minutes to copy one sheet then this...
