I purchased and installed a new HP printer. Now my scanner (HP Scanjet 4850) doesn't work. I've tried the fixes suggested. The system just hangs. Nothing really works. Don't buy this if you intend to connect anything else to your computer.

This is a very good scanner. It's really fast and has all the features; scanning slides, saving in different file formats, scanning to different applications, and more. I love this scanner!
