HP Scanjet 8200

A legal-size scan bed and optional (but expensive) document feeder make HP's Scanjet 8200 a suitable choice for business users.

HP ScanJet 8200

Business scanners generally have faster throughput, more robust construction, and a better duty cycle than graphics scanners, but the strong emphasis on text scanning often comes at the expense of image quality and capability. The HP ScanJet 8200 ($499...

ScanJet 8200 Scanner

The device we are going to talk about today belongs to the most expensive series of high-performance scanners offered by Hewlett Packard. But is the investment in this high-end and very expensive solution going to pay back in full? Find out if this...

Hewlett-Packard used to be a leader in the scanner market, updating its product line quite frequently. HP's scanners featured cute design and good functionality. In those times (not long ago, by the way) the Scanjet brand, and maybe AGFA's SnapScan,...

HP Scanjet 8300 L1960AB1H USB Interface Flatbed Scanner - Retail

I like it. Was hesitant because of previous reviews but bought due to previous experience with Hp Scanners. What I was mainly interested in was speed. It is faster than any other scanner I've owned

The software does not work well or not at all. But that's typical of HP. Uninstalling, then reinstalling would probably fix but I intend to use it with Photoshop anyway. The twain drivers installed no problem

What happened HP???

This one got sent back. I'm going to try a Canon 8800F next.

Scans legal size, quality construction, USB interface

It really is as big as a Buick. Copy button on front does not work. Scanning actually adds a lot of noise to the scan that just is not there. On a glossy professional finish photo, it scans texture from the photo in as white dots and really make the...

Should be more special for $$

Nice and sturdy -- heavy lid and solid base. Film templates looked pretty comprehensive and useful. Legal size bed

No faster than $100 scanner on normal res, bed misaligned by 1/8 inch. I returned it at a loss, since it was as big as a Buick and wasn't any faster, the whole reason I got it

HP Scanjet 8300 L1960A 4800 x 4800dpi 48bit Hi-Speed USB (compatible with USB 2.0 specifications) Interface Flatbed Scanner

the scan speed is'nt fast as what i thought. the scan speeds depend on the dip settings but not b&w, gray or color settings. the scan time is measured from clicking accept icon until yes-no window appearing. 200dpi:8sec 300dpi:13sec 600dpi:37sec

accurate focus, 4800 dpi, scan films

big size, heavy weight, slow scan speed

Don't buy refubished and buy only from Best Buy

I purchased the refurbished scanner from the Best Buy web-site from a third party. What a let down when I set it up and the automatic document feeder (ADF) didn't work. The reason I purchased this machine was because it had an ADF. My documents are...

Doesn't work

HP Scanjet 8200 scanner review

The Scanjet 8200 is more business scanning machine than strictly a photo scanner, you can even buy it with an additional automatic document feeder, by having said that it can scan A4 documents on the A4 plate, negatives (four frames on a strip) and...

Auto sharpening, colour restoration, scratch/dust removal processing and the like

The auto crop before scan doesn’t get things right and can even give a horizontal crop to a vertical image! Dust removal software works but is not capable of dealing with dirty originals and the auto scaling/resolution settings don’t allow enough control

The Scanjet 8200 is more business-scanning machine than strictly a photo scanner

Hewlett-Packard Scanjet 8200

Fast, high resolution

Poor colour scans with default settings

The HP Scanjet 8200 can readily handle documents, photos and film, and is well suited to workgroups.
