HP Scanjet G3010 Photo Scanner

The HP Scanjet G3010 Photo Scanner is aimed squarely at home users. It does its best work when scanning photographic prints.

Handles photographic prints reasonably well. Scans 35mm slides and strips of film as well as standard documents.

Limited to two 35mm slides or two frames of 35mm film at a time. Slow.

If you're in the market for an affordable photo scanner with the ability to capture accurate color and detail, along with the occasional slide or film scan, the HP Scanjet G3110 is worth considering.

The HP G3010 scanner offers 4800 x 9600 DPI resolution, enough for slides and negatives as well as photos.

Bad for Windows 10

Since I upgraded to Windows 10 the G3110 scanner no longer functions and according to HP no additional support or updates will be provided . I generally like HP products but their software is frustrating as they do not provide an option to "REPAIR"...

well first of all -it setup great and it wouldn't scan at the first try,until i plugged in the little white plug that was already attached and then, it worked fine and it scans beautifully ,then and ever since,thanks HP for a wonderful product.
