Disappointing

 

Bought this for our estimator to use in the field to do drawings. Put it on the top of an 8 1/2 x 11 tablet. Only read about 2/3 down the page. Then in the transfer the lines and words got all chopped up. Very disappointed. Was very easy to hook up...

It doesn't work. Upon receipt, plugged in usb receiver unit to be charged & it didn't charge. As soon as it's unplugged, the display goes off and the unit does not turn on. Tried using pen with receiver plugged in and pen draws lines between letters...

DO NOT BUY FOR MAC!!

This product is useless if you have a Mac although it is sold as being compatible w/ the Mac OS. It will make a TIFF file of your handwritten notes but WILL NOT translate it into type. I can write on paper quite well w/out their "special" pen.

The unit purports to be an innovation in recognizing your handwriting, it is not. There are many other systems with the same low reliability in converting hand writing into text. This unit unfortunately misses the target.
