Kodak should have bundled more software than only ReadIris Pro, and we reckon the price is a little high, but the i40 is a good, solid performer that won't let you down. Judging by the build quality, it will last for years and years.

Rugged design, compact, easy setup.

Price, 50-sheet media capacity.

Kodak i40

Offices with little desk space but heavy document scanning requirements find that most flatbed scanners are just too big – and very often not designed to be carthorses. The i40 steers a different course: as an upright sheet-fed model it has a petite...

Kodak i40 - PCQuest

It looks more like an ordinary inkjet printer than a scanner. Though, the i40 is an entry-level product, this power-packed document scanner is meant for the banking, financial services and

KODAK I40 SF CLR DUPLEX 25PPM 50IPM

This is a robust yet compact scanner that will more than fit the needs of any desktop user, and in our case, the needs of 5 desktop users. It does of course require a PC to connect to with usb 2.0. It comes with the "lite" version of the software...

Great quality for good price

Disclaimer: The company I work for sells exclusively Kodak scanners, and we scan millions of documents a year

Great little scanner. The desktop footprint (size) is perfect. It even comes with a USB cable so you don't have to purchase one separately. This scanner can handle about 40 pages in the feed tray and will easily let you scan a few thousand documents a...

Price. The rubber lip on the inside of the scanner is a consumer replacable part that will need to be replaced regularly if you use this scanner for tens of thousands of documents

Very nice scanner

I work for a publishing company and am using this to digitize our older products for print-on-demand. This scanner came highly recomended from one of our printers and we are very impressed with it.

This is a VERY nice document scanner. It scans 6 duplex pages (12 pages total) at 600dpi in under a minute and produces very crisp scans with good color balance and contrast ; I prefer scanning from photoshop to save some time and have a little more...

the only way to back a sheet out of the autofeeder is by opening the top. there should probably be a backup button to save exposing the scan head and other mechanicals
