NeatDesk also shares one complication with NeatReceipts. The Neat Company uses the same name for all versions of NeatDesk, whether it upgrades the scanner, the software, or both. The version I reviewed included the most recent hardware and software:...

Scans and manages receipts, business cards, and documents. Scans to searchable PDFs. 50-page automatic document feeder

Included program is designed well but is highly limited

NeatDesk does a great job with receipts and business cards, but to take full advantage of the scanner itself, you'll have to buy additional software.

Neat Desk

The Neat Desk document scanner is the most simple to use and has more features than any other scanner we reviewed. Its compatibility and connectivity to Microsoft Outlook, QuickBooks and Turbo Tax will help save you time and headache. The optical...

This scanner can import documents into applications such as QuickBooks

This scanner can scan 50 pages in one job, others can do 75

The versatility of the Neat Desk and its compatibility with different applications make it the best document scanner on the market.

Limited capabilities

if you just want to scan documents into a pdf version quickly, I would give it a solid B. It is quick as a bunny. But, it is painfully slow doing the conversion to a pdf. What it does in speed taking the papers, you will pay for in waiting.

Piece of Junk

Don't buy into the fancy advertising. Bet you saw an ad for this in SkyMall ?? It uses a single CENTRALLY placed paper feed wheel with no other lateral supports. What's that add up to? A crooked paper feed and consistently jammed scan sessions. Usually...

Absolute Junk!

The concept is good, and the software is pretty decent, but the hardware is awful. The jam rate is over 75%. I don't dare feed an original document into it, because the odds are it will be destroyed. I've got less than 100 pages scanned, and as of...

Don't waste your money, especially if you use an Apple computer. Not compatible with Mac tho they say it is. The software only gets it right about 10% of the time if that. Also, there is a MAJOR defect in their software, and they confirmed it at their...

Not as good as I expected

I've been pretty disappointed with this scanner. We mostly scan 8.5 x 11 page documents. The scanner feeds the pages through crooked about 99% of the time. The paper guide seems to be too wide, with no way to adjust it. It's very frustrating and I'll...

Worth the purchase!!

Once you install (super easy!), set up the "folders" (even easier) and scan your first multi pages (the easiest) you will be looking for things to scan. Prior I had been scanning one page at a time via a flat bed scanner for years or just avoiding the...

My husband and I drive a semi truck over the road and prior to this purchase we were just filing our receipts. It was taking up some space and when we needed something we would have to wait to come home and dig through the receipts. Now I can take our...
